ISPA 2006 Thailand closes with Success Stories for the Asia Pacific Spa and Wellness Conference & Exhibition

ISPA 2006 Thailand International Spa & Wellness Conference and Exhibition officially closed in resounding success lauded by exhibitors, trade buyers and visitors.
The event which was dubbed as the “Best ISPA Asia Pacific Event to date” was held last May 3-5, 2006 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok, Thailand.

It was attended by more than 312 conference delegates with the participation of about 174 exhibitors representing Asia, the Middle East, Europe and the North America.
Girl - 2 - in stable condition after being pulled from spa

A 2-year-old girl was pulled from the water Thursday after she was found floating in a spa at an apartment complex in the 6000 block of West Oregon Avenue.

The child was rushed to Phoenix Children's Hospital, where she was reported in stable condition, said Elio Pompa, a deputy chief for the Glendale Fire Department.

Day Spas of America, Inc., announced today it has acquired the assets of Evolve
Wellness Studio and Spa. Evolve was evicted for non-performance under its lease terms and all furniture and equipment used in Evolve's operations ceased by the building's lien holder.
Day Spas of America, Inc. has rehired Evolve's employees and re-opened the Spa and fitness facility only having lost two days of business. Day Spas of America, Inc. has negotiated a 10 year lease with the building owner. Day Spas of America, Inc. will purchase the Spa's equipment at orderly liquidation values from the landlord.
